The most beautiful vacation house I have ever booked. Everything is new and the style of the house follows the current lifestyle. The house we had was really big and will perfectly suit 4 people (we were only 2). Everything was perfectly cleaned and we also got a welcome present. The view was amazing even though we booked the house without sea view. The location is also very quiet- I am usually very sensitive to noise but here I sleep very well! overall I highly recommend this place for everyone who wants a cozy vacation in a beautiful landscape area. some short points what we really liked: - the cozy oven (since we stayed there in November) - 1min walk to the lake - lot of parking spaces - karts to easily carry the stuff to the house - nice terrace - big windows with a beautiful view - kitchen with a small freezer, fridge, oven, and dishwasher - vacuum cleaner - newspaper and magazines about possible places to visit and boat tours - communication with the owner easy and fast - there is also a kids playground available and we noticed that there is also a rental for boats,bikes, SUPs available (we did not check this out since it was too cold)

Fabulous breakfast with friendly service. The hotel had a lift which was great for family members that had challenges with stairs. Our rooms overlooked the canal and had a very scenic view.

Freerke and Fimke’s place is lovely, calm and clean. The hot steam and sauna are very rewarding after a swim. All the necessities are available (kitchen components, bathroom soaps, bedsheets, towels and bathrobes, etc). Freerke is very accommodating and available for her hosts. Every detail is thought in its finest details! Localised close to restaurants and bike renting, 30 min by car from the natural reserve and the island Ameland.

Located in the lake district of Fryslan, in Terherne right along the lake Terhernster Puollen, d'Oude Herbergh, vakantiehuizen aan het water offers spacious non-smoking accommodations. This original, thatched farmhouse from 1870 also offers free private parking on site.

The house was clean, well equipped and peaceful. We stayed for over a month and worked from the house. The wifi was fast and consistent. Its very well insulated and has underfloor heating, so we were always cozy. Our dog loved the neighbourhood and there were lots of nice places to walk him near by. Our host was lovely, she made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, and made us feel very welcome. Overall our say was perfect, and I'm looking forward to going back.

A fantastic and unique B&B in in the little picturesque village Jirnsum, perfectly run by Bonnie and Charles. Unique location within a former church, lovely owners, and essentially a well-equipped studio perfect for short or longer stay. Good shower, fully equipped kitchen, great bed and beautiful stained glass windows, remnant of the architectural features of the church. There's a little sitting area outside the room with lovely books and games. If you're interested - Charles will give you a tour of the clock tower - just above the room! Breakfast, care of Bonnie, was plentiful and flavorful. We are already planning on going back!
