We spent with my partner and our parents a wonderful week at 'Vakantiehuis in Friesland met riante woonkeuken'. The place is located in a hamlet close to Franeker and Leeuwarden. If you like quiet places far from the madding crowds, this is the best pick. The house itself is like a fairy-tale (e.g. a children's cabinet bed - your children will love it!). The rooms are nice, clean and very well equipped. And the owners are incredibly nice and helpful people!
