Loved the little town of monnickendam. Public transport was easy to get into the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. Bed was comfortable. The hosts were wonderful people. Very generous.

Beautiful position on side of lake, nicely presented. Good location for visiting many gorgeous villages. Dined at the hotel for 2 nights, the food was excellent & catered specifically to us. Excellent service & lovely attentive staff. We would love to visit again & would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful, characterful hotel. Rooms rather old fashioned but not unexpected in this lovely, historic building. Clean comfortable and charming. The restaurant was excellent with a great outside area too.

Great location in a beautiful Dutch town. The property had everything we needed and Ben was great. Couple of minor things that could do with some attention (shower seal and noisy upstairs heating) although they didn’t spoil what was a fantastic location and property.

We liked everything about this hotel. It felt luxurious from the moment we entered to the moment we checked out. The spaces are beautifully decorated and comfortable, we heard nothing from corridors/other rooms while we were in our room and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Every staff member we interacted with was polite, friendly and helpful - could not be faulted. Truly fantastic and if you are tossing up highly highly recommend you book to stay here!!
