we liked everything! starting how the B&B was designed - very nicely decorated with a lot of nice details - proper use of the space without feeling ‘crammed’ then the utter most friendly hosts that made us feel beyond welcome, spoiled us with a breakfast of delicious local treats and a suburb lunch box! What stayed was the warm atmosphere of the English landhouse and the hospitality of Twente. The unique location in the woods of the National Park the Sallandse Heuvelrug, makes De Uitkijk a spot to relax. The name comes from the tower with view that used to be next to the hotel. A visit to Hotel De Uitkijk will release the pressure.

The swimming pool was great for a group of friends. Houses were clean and there was sufficient space. Worked well for us, as we had a group of 4 families, where the houses were near one another. Staff were extremely friendly, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The takeaway food at the restaurant was a great positive, as we have young children, and it helped us be able to all enjoy our evenings, and get the kids to bed at a reasonable time. Washing machine and dryer were a great addition to the property. Would highly recommend this resort for future travellers.
