This was my first stay in a camp ever and I have to say that I am very satisfied. I did a right choice and selected a small hut (1 night stay) and I felt very cosy in it. It is a great camp 2 km from Urk and midst fantastic nature, fantastically cared lawns and sufficient offer of food & snacks. Reception staff very friendly, you can order snacks at the reception and pick them up next morning for a fresh breakfast. A pity I could stay only 1 night but I had to go on (I travelled by car and did 4000 km in 8 days visiting 7 countries). There is also a pool and playground for kids and pony horses.
And there are 3 beautiful cats in the camp going around. One of them was insisting and I let him in the hut and he jumped on a bed immediatelly to lie down. I like cats and please my request to camp staff: please keep some food and water for cats so they can eat and drink and enjoy in the camp, too. Thank you.

The location is around 28 kms from Giethoorn. The property offers good breakfast, there is a farm nearby where children can see farm animals and also play. They offer e scooters and a trip with them is awesome. The staff is excellent and always eager to help!
The location was nice and there is also a playground for kids to play. Perfect location if you want to hang out with your friends and family and enjoy the barbeque. Moreover, there is also a zoo nearby and you can go cycling as well. The supermarket is 5 min away by car
Giethroon (Venice of Netherlands) is 30 km away by car. We look forward to staying here again in the summers.
