The clock chiming didn't bother us at night, ear plugs blocked out the noise. We could easily explore the surrounding area on our bikes.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The place is quite modern (unlike most B&B we stayed in), with soothing interior colors and design. We have the whole studio to ourselves. Family hosts were quiet hospitable. Host also recommended a good place to eat in Dokkum centrum.
Breakfast was quite a feast (for the additional 42 euros incl tax) that we paid for 2 adults and a child.
It's a beautiful place, with fresh and fabulous design. The team was super friendly and detail oriented, especially for kids, there have given us a plenty of toys, and it was so nice :) In addition, this place is totally new and clean with high quality design. It was a pleasure to stay in the Suite van Lotte. We can just recommend :)
Lovely scenery, accommodations, affordable bike rental, adorable town nearby, great amenities, shower, decor. A truly great little getaway spot. You could even take a little boat into town but the weather didn’t cooperate to allow us to do that. Highly recommend.
