The house was very interesting, with an old school style, yet very confortable. The room was spacious with a very big bed, perfect for 2 people. It had a coffe machine in the room with some free coffee, which was very pleasant. Everything was clean and tidy.

We discovered this hotel in 2019 and every time we visit our family in Meppel we stay here. It is located in the middle of a wooded area and one might think that they’ve taken a wrong turn, but don’t worry, you’re on the right path. The restaurant is very good and offers typical European food as well as a few Dutch specialties. and the breakfast buffet is well stocked. There is even a small swimming pool where you can relax or get a few short laps in before bed or breakfast.
We liked the indoor pool. Enough space for many people. Water was clean.
The room was okay. We travelled with a baby there was no mini bar, we couldn't refrigerate baby food.
Breakfast is as any other simple dutch breakfast.
Beautiful location. Large clean family room with a balcony & fantastic view of the forest. Comfortable beds. Large bathroom with excellent shower. Coffee & tea making facilities in the room.
Very nice receptionist and takeaway staff. The house was clean with all thats required for a comfortable stay. We had a big house with 5 sleeping rooms, large kitchen diner lounge and also a little room for the toddlers with small table and chair for them to play away from the adults. We booked a cot and it was refunded because we didn't use it.
