It is a lovely little village and the hotel is absolutely cute. At the time we didn't have a chance to try the restaurant as it was always full. Staff was very kind, the breakfast was tiny, but you could definitely start the day with it. :)

Good communication, good and spacious room. Nice and spacious bathroom. Good bed. I took breakfast early, so it was in my refigerator upon arrival. Parking space close to the room ( but they were running out of parking space). Lots of restaurants in the nearby village ( Lichtenvoorde). Definitely recommended.

It was a very small room but perfect for staying one night to go out with friends and not having to drive home at night. The shower facility was great though and very enjoyable! The staff in the restaurant was very friendly helpful.

The Heerlyckheid is a beautiful boutique hotel in Bredevoort, near Winterswijk. The facilies and the ambience is amazing. As guest you can enjoy diner at the restaurant, however, we had other plans so no experience.
De hotel is situated on the main square of the city, and on the square there is also a local brewery, De Borgman, with a large terrace whereas you can enjoy local beers with friends and family.
We really enjoyed our stay, and the breakfast was good quality, fresh and a lot of options.
