Comfortable guesthouse to relax in before we flew out of Windhoek. Booked the executive suite (Room 9) which is stunning with a lovely comfortable bed and big bathroom area (sadly the bath could not be used due to current drought in Namibia).
Had dinner at the guesthouse in the evening, which was very good and included breakfast was also good. They were happy for us to stay at the property until our taxi for the airport by the pool.

Really comfortable hotel with very lovely and helpful hosts who clearly love their country and whom we enjoyed chatting to. It was the start of our trip around Namibia and they helped get us excited for it! They also gave great practical advice on where to buy things we needed, and booked dinner for us (Stellenbosch nearby - highly recommended). The room was light and peaceful with great decor, we slept so well in the luxurious sheets! Breakfast was great, with the olive bread in particular

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We are not able to comment anything positive. We were told on the day of arrival that Tenbergen does not have space for our whole family. They decided to cancel one of our two rooms without notice. Their solution - that I should stay elsewhere and leave my 20 year old kids with them - taxing back and forth.
I see on other reviews that that have done the same in the past - I do not believe thier "our system crashed" excuse. I believe that they deliberately overbook the hotel.
They have a herd of goats and one gave birth while we were there. The kid was so cute. There's also a few antilope, some ducks and a gaggle of geese, so that was fun. The restaurant on-site was convenient and food wasn't bad.
The location is very good. It is nearby a shop. It is a safe and peaceful neighborhood.
It's family friendly, my kids could play outside and not feel cooped up indoors. When we needed something the host responded immediately.
The staff was really friendly and very accommodating to our special needs (we had small children and a camping fridge). The springboks cruising around the lodge were the real highlight for us and the kids, as were the ostriches and tortoises. The pool was very clean and the restaurant has a beautiful setting.
The lady at reception stayed up waiting and answered our calls as we tried to find the guesthouse. very friendly. the breakfast was family friendly. the guest house is located in a hilly area, as such the views of the surrounding mountains was beautiful. the rooms are spacious and the children enjoyed the short stay. the pool area just outside our rooms is beautiful. for a longer stay, the kids can enjoy the pool and lawn area.
Very friendly staff. Our room was a bit nosy, we were very tired, and the staff change us a room with no question, helping us with the lagguage. And they have a very good breakfast. We wanted to sleep with our kid, since in Namibia a child is only till 12, what is funny and a bit annoing, and they did not complicated at all. Two thumbs up.
