We spent 6 nights at Meson Amelia. We were greeted at the door by the host Sam, who throughout proved to be a thoroughly brilliant host and an excellent cook. The rooms are large, well decorated and the beds are quite comfortable. The location is very good -- the rooftop restaurant has great a fantastic view.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The hotel is in a very central location and has been beautifully renovated. The staff were attentive and very friendly, providing several recommendations for the local area. The rooms are luxurious and well-appointed. The pool area is well placed with a gorgeous exposed historical wall. Words can not describe how beautiful the city of San Miguel de Allende is. I highly recommend that if you are planning to visit, you give this hotel serious consideration.
We had room 11 on the top floor with french doors and a little Juliette balcony. The room was spacious and the little kitchen was functional.
The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our 3 night stay here.
The location was good, too, not too far from the old town, shops, restaurants and the bus terminal.
