This was heaven on earth. There is no way you can be more on the beach than here. We had the apartment with kitchen on the ground floor. There was a big terrace with chairs. We had our own loungers. The apartment was beautifully decorated and well appointed. People were super friendly. The restaurant was really nice. The beach itself is stunning. It’s so beautiful and clean. I’m so glad we stayed three nights.

The location is stunning and was perfect for us to unwind. Our cabańa was right on the beach and had everything we needed. The staff were wonderful and friendly and we loved the way they worked so well together with fun and enjoyment. Food was great, freshly cooked using as many local in-season ingredients as possible. Menu changed daily with specials using local seafood.
The large shaded area was particularly good for us to stay out of the midday sun while reading, resting in the hammocks and sampling the cocktails.
Great view on the ocean and only 3 mn walk to the beach. Our kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Our family room was simple and charming. The restaurant doesn't open in the afternoon but we felt we had a private chef because we were planning what we wanted to eat for breakfast and lunch with him for the next day... and it was always delicious! Very nice staff.
Such a unique space that was charming and industrial at the same time. In keeping with the extremely clean environment each unit had a funky and functional foot washing station that 'almost' ensured a sand-free floor. I could have showered for hours in the spacious semi indoor/outdoor rain shower!!
Our balcony was amazing with nice comfy chairs, hammock and gorgeous view. The grounds were very nice and kept tidy. I loved all the palm trees and overall feel of the place. The staff were nice and helpful. The beach right in front had red flags but you could still safely get in, submerse and bob around in the shallow surf and have fun without going out deep. The safer beach was less than five minute walk down the beach.
I loved it here! It was such a cute, brand-new property a very short walk into San Agustinillo. The semi-outdoor shower (with hot water and great water pressure!) was amazing as was the very comfortable bed. The pools were fun and the staff was very nice. I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, but the chef of the pizza restaurant attached to the hotel is a well-known pizza chef formerly of La Termita (which I loved before they sadly closed). Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
Our palapa was just in front of the beach with nothing but the ocean to watch from our terrace all day. Olimpia and the staff are absolutely lovely people. They treated us excellent and Carlos and Alejandro from the kitchen were even sweet enough to make special little things for our one-and-a-half-year-old baby boy. We recommend Cabañas Punta Placer all the way!

comfortable, big beds with mosquito nest;
hammocks on each terrace and shared in a shaded space directly on the beach;
comfortable connecting apartments for a family / 4 people group - connecting doors inside and shared terrace.
Went with my daughter for my birthday. It was very quiet and relaxing. It seemed like a spot for couples but I didn't feel shunned for being there with my daughter like some couple/foreigner spots. It was very laid back and kid friendly.
The staff were excellent just very nice and outgoing and helpful.
We had the perfect family getaway for a couple days.
