The patrons Antonio and Auri where amazing and so very kind. She cooked us a homemade meal with the best mole we have ever eaten and he told us all about Mayan culture and history. In the evening we listened to stories about life here in Coba. The pod we slept in was so cute and cosy, we really liked it. The surroundings where beautiful and so still and peaceful. The next morning a home cooked breakfast and a smoke and cacao ceremony which was impressive and quite fun. The chocolate and honey was so good!! Without our hosts it would have been nice but they made it extra special and spectacular. Thank you so much. Little shout out to Uba y Lola.

Very unique place!!! Expensive but I understand why... I had a great time here... I felt like I stayed in a Mayan castle (or pyramid)... It was a very UNIQUE experience... Thank you for making it so... Oh I accidentally took the safe key when I checked out... They were very gracious and understanding... I was able to FedEX back to them in a couple of days..

Situated in Cobá, 48 km from Tulum Archeological Site, Hotel LOL-HA features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. Among the facilities at this property are room service and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel has family rooms.

Everything was perfect expect for there being no wifi. The family is very very friendly, hospitable, and kind- truly gems of people! I didn't eat at the restaurant but the Sandia (watermelon) and limon (lemonade) frescas were divine. Really fresh. BUT there is some dishonesty with the internet situation, which is slightly upsetting. The password written inside the room is incorrect, and the one he gave me the next day was also incorrect (they were both also completely different, yet the first one he assured me was right... and then the new one he gave was assured to be real/true). In all honesty, I sense they don't want guests to use their wifi as they have lots of children- at least 5, I believe. I would have WAY MORE respect and not even mind if this had been communicated- for example, please don't stream anything and keep internet use to a minimal. We have children who like to watch things, etc. But instead they just lie on repeat; and I wasted about 3 hours in total over two days trying to find the perfect location for wifi, of which there isn't. Because internet is non-existent. (You can go up to the restaurant and use wifi during the day, but it's not really ideal nor is it ok for night-time.) The room was lovely and big. I saw a few cockroaches during my stay, but the shower was one of the best I've had in Mexico. They also gave complimentary towel, soap, and shampoo, which was kind. I wish this family the best.

The property was a lovely glamping type cenote accommodation. The owners were a caring and attentive family who gave it a homely feel and a personal touch. It was an immersive experience with the jungle, cicada and waterfall sounds. Lovely walks and restaurants in the nearby area.

Communication prior to our trip was excellent. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Hector collected us from the bus and was present throughout our stay, always checking we had what we needed. The hotel is small with a family feel and extremely well thought out. There is everything you need. Spotless, comfortable and within walking distance to the ruins. Hector took us to a cenote one afternoon which was very close and stunning. Loved every minute of our stay and didn't want to leave.

Design is grand, with lots of interesting and different places to sit and chill out, have drinks etc, including pool with bar stools and loungers inside it. Wonderful big trees inside the interior courtyard. Owner/ Manager is lovely and very attentive. Their little dog - Cappuccino - is gorgeous and fun. Rooftop views are good of lake & pyramid ruins.

The hotel location was close enough to walk to almost everything yet the lakeside site was quiet, lush, green, peaceful and host to a wide variety of birds. We were close to several local family restaurants and to the main archeological site. The staff provided excellent service as well as recommendations about restaurants and additional sites to visit such as the 3 cenotes (cave pools).

We like the position of the hotel, close to the pyramids in Coba and at the same time at the outskirts of the village in a tranquile place almost in the jungle. We also like the owners, Gill and Poncho, we felt very welcome by them, family-like feeling. We also enjoyed the delisious espresso. You can find the best coffee in their place. We also enjoyed the shared kitchen for meetup and talks.

Service was execellent, the lady in the reception was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was tasty and the food in the restaurant too. Good value for money! Rooms were clean and the pool was nice bonus. Seating areas (the one on the second floor and the one on the yard with hammocks) were nice places to chill. And there were also playing area with toys, which our kids loved!
