This is a comfortable hotel in a pleasant area close to the main street (Strada Stefan cel Mare) and to Strada Independentei, a lively area that links a number of family-friendly parks and walking routes. The hotel is a roughly 20-minute walk from the inter-city bus station, or you could take a city bus along Stefan cel Mare.
To save money I booked a windowless room. Actually the room had a window, which overlooked an indoor stairwell. But solid curtains maintained privacy and the place was quiet.
