What an amazing place for families: so many activities. Andrejs gave us lots of recommendations, including kayaking through the national park and my kids (aged 9 and 12) especially loved the local Tarzans Amusement park and Cesis castle. The house is located next to a small zoo and it was really fun to walk through the park after hours. Andrejs also gave us the name of a bike rental company but we ran out to time. The apartment is very spacious and we loved the sauna and then (a few brave souls) jumped into the pond afterwards. The house is very peaceful (forest all around) and Andrejs is the perfect host; exceptionally accommodating of our numerous requests and questions! We'd had a very busy vacation so it was nice to slow down for a few days and relax; We'd love to visit again.

Excellent concept and great location for exploring the area. The breakfast and dinner was great. The ropes course was perfect for our 9 year old to explore. There was live music and a great atmosphere.
