Lovely studio set just back from the beach in a quiet and beautiful area. It’s was so wonderful to be in such a quiet and serene location with the waves the only sound. Nish is a fantastic host and the food was both delicious and plentiful. He very kindly organised a Sri Lankan cookery class with him and his Mum, also got to eat it afterwards, yum. The beach is stunning and had a few plays in the waves although a little rough to swim. Also had a yoga class a few minutes away which was hard but felt great after.

Our three days at fishermen’s lodge were super special, we felt so welcome and included in their family. The food in the restaurant was really amazing, the host is a great cook, we loved especially her rice and curry and the grilled fish. The traditional breakfast was also really good! The room was really simple, but still very clean and the host was always ready to help us in any way. You just walk a few steps to the beautiful beach which is nearly empty! In the morning the host took us fishing one time, which was the most special and fun experience! Overall we really recommend coming here for an authentic and local experience with extraordinary people! Thank you for everything! We might come back one time :)

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, Golden Beach Paradise in Tangalle is the perfect destination for you. My family and I recently stayed at this amazing resort and we were blown away by the incredible experience we had. The resort's location is situated right on the beachfront, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore each morning, and spending our days lounging on the golden sand. Plastics brought by the waves during nighttime are unfortunately present on the shore but cleaned every mornings by the team, The resort's team is friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food at Golden Beach Paradise is great- we were treated to a range of delicious dishes that showcased the best of local cuisine. The chef is making it excellent for all, at decent prices, Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed to feel at ease. One of the highlights of our stay was renting a scooter to explore the local area. It was so much fun to zoom around the nearby towns and villages, taking in the sights and sounds of this beautiful part of Sri Lanka. Finally, we highly recommend taking a visit to the nearby mangroves - it is an absolute must-do. The mangroves are a natural wonder, and we were lucky enough to see a range of local wildlife during our visit. Overall, we cannot recommend Golden Beach Paradise highly enough - it truly is a paradise place. We give it a five-star rating without hesitation, and we cannot wait to return for another unforgettable vacation.

Just had the most incredible vacation at this stunning hotel in Sri Lanka, nestled right by the ocean beach. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful ambiance was pure bliss! I can't say enough about the warm and welcoming owner and staff who made me feel like family during my stay. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay. And let's talk about the food—absolutely delicious! The hotel's restaurant served a variety of mouthwatering dishes, and the breakfast spread was a delightful way to start each day. Moreover, the owner was always helpful in suggesting and arranging activities and excursions in the area. Whether it was a thrilling water sports adventure or a cultural exploration, they had the best recommendations! Awesome place overlooking a very broad and calm beach. Beautiful garden and big spacious rooms with air conditioning. We liked everything about our stay: location, breakfasts and tips from the owner about what to do in the neighborhood. You can go bird watching, go chill and swim in a reef- protected Harmony Beach. Overall amazing!
