1) The location was absolutely enchanting, nestled within large tea plantation area and surrounded by beautiful old trees.

4) Food was divine. A special mention of the Chefs Bandula and his team - Oshan and Lahiru who cooked the most delicious food I have had in Sri Lanka including in any five star hotels. Their mushroom soup, hoppers and walatapam were out of this world!

The view from my balcony was enchanting. The private meal service was much appreciated, as was the lift!!!! It's an out-of-the-way place but well worth the picturesque mountain roads. Night time revealed breathtaking sparkling stars.

Amazing colonial heritage villa with attentive service, great food, great location, and outstanding charm. We ate in the restaurant and it was pristine. - Very nice location and good if you want to have complete calmness and quietness.
- There are some activities on site, which you can do, e.g. badminton, chessboard, walking around in the tea plants. It’s a bit away from the city centre but we did not mind this.
- It’s a rather small hotel with only few rooms. If you prefer to stay more anonymous during your stay, it might not be the right thing for you as the staff is very attentive at all times and tries to give you a very individual treatment.

A lovely accommodation and we were also upgraded to a nicer room which was fantastic. The beds were easily the most comfortable of our entire journey throughout Sri Lanka. The staff were lovely and so attentive. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was nicely located in reach of all the things we wanted to see and do. the room was very clean and comfortable. It felt super cozy and we enjoyed our stay. The shower is really good. The owner is so sweet, he helps you with every small request. He brought us directly some nice tea and also prepared some breakfast. He is very passionate about improving his property. The accommodation is a bit outside of the center, but you can easily walk to the city in 15-20 min.
