The location of the hotel has a scenic beauty of the mountain range and the Mahaweli river. In the morning you will be greeted by the twittering of beautiful birds that will make you feel like you are living in the wilderness. The staff were extremely polite and they greeted us everywhere we saw them. We absolutely enjoyed the room that they provided us as a triple room which happened to be a suite. This room was spacious and luxurious. We requested for wheel chair access and were provided a wheel chair for our entire duration of our stay. This helped me a great deal as I was able to take my father to meals and around the hotel according to our time preference.

Amma is a superhost. She explained the bus, the shops in Kandy and possible excursions. A 7 minutes walk to the busstation and then within 10 minutes near the Temple of Tooth and town.was easy to do. The food was the best I had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are good and clean. The cold shower was fresh. A very special day was a visit to a school close to the guesthouse where I could give a donation. I would love to come back to stay.

The staff were very approachable and helpful. The breakfast was good. They arranged a taxi to pick up us from the railway and then back again at the end of our stay. The view and location is amazing. Being surrounded by all the birds was so peaceful. The restaurants food is delicious and the breakfast everyday was authentic and delicious. The owners were so nice friendly and helpful. This place isn’t in heart of Kandy but easy short tuk tuk ride. I didn’t want to be right in town.

The property was clean and comfortable. The pool was immaculate and the view was phenomenal. The kitchen facilities were good. Danush was a great host. He collected us from the train station and got us started with a trip to the food shop. Then he left us to it unless we needed him which was perfect for us as we felt more private than other home stays we’ve been in. The location was perfect for us. A 5 min tuk tuk to the main city or can jump on a bus from the bottom of the hill. We loved Kandy and found plenty to do with our 3 children (9, 7 and 6) and would recommend a visit to anyone.
