At the restaurant, the food is extremely good, we ate every day and everything was SUUUUUPEEER! The accommodation was excellent; we had a family room with a balcony and a sea view. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast deserves a very high rating; it was incredible, and we had a charming view from our table again. The location is absolutely perfect for spotting large turtles, exploring the coral reef, and visiting nearby restaurants, cafes, and shops. Despite that, the accommodation was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was wonderful and took great care of our comfort. It's a simple and older type of accommodation but provides everything you need.

It had original features and you felt like you were staying in a beautiful old home and it was between the road and the beach so access was perfect…I could walk to pet a turtle without putting on shoes! The staff were the best especially the manager Tswru (?) but everyone was friendly. Couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in Hikkadua.

It’s my third time in Sri Lanka. And I wanna say that it’s a very good place to stay. Room was clean, AC works well. Location is close to cafes and stores. Delicious breakfast for affordable price. Owners were so lovely and sweet. I would like to come back next time.

Breakfast superb, every day a different Sri Lankan breakfast + continental. We had evening meal also superb. Lovely veranda to sit for breakfast. The host's happy and cheerful and gave lots of info and local facts. Charming. And 5 minutes from the beach/shops/ restaurants but so peaceful.
