A true local experience, not for everyone but if you are looking to find a place with no Tourist and experience local life this is great! The room is clean, very very simple, but it’s exactly how you see it in the photos! They explained to us the road to the water falls and in general our stay in Meemure was great! Rohana, the owner is a very dedicated and caring host who perfectly knows the area. We got all the recommendations where to go for hiking (e.g. several waterfalls, a natural pool, different routes around knuckles mountain range). Also we got to eat the best Sri Lankan Food on our trip so far, which we enjoyed on the rooftop terrace with the most amazing view over the mountains. This rooftop dinner itself is worth the visit. Thank you Rohana, for this unforgettable and much to short visit at your place. We will definitely come back! :-)

Loved the personal touch and attention provided by the staff. We paid extra for meals prepared by the inhouse chef which were all DELICIOUS! All meals were beautifully presented and very, very tasty. Rooms are big and comfortable. The house manager assisted us with organisation of daily excursions and taking us to climb a nearby rock with exquisite views. We had an amazing three nights at this beautiful location and would love to return one day!

I loved everything!! It’s a paradise. You’re in the middle of the jungle, in a big and comfortable house, with delicious food and a super service. The staff is absolutely perfect, nice, helpful. The center has some pets, like adorable dogs, very friendly and nice, I miss them! If you don’t like dogs, don’t worry, the place is big enough :) I miss the time I soent there and I recommend everybody to go there!

The manager Lucian is so friendly, he really made our stay in Sri-Lanka more easy by helping us out with all of our questions. The cottage is well maintained and designed/decorated with great care. The food was super tasty and fresh. The area is unbelievably pretty. We enjoyed all of it! Would definitely recommend it!

The staff, the garden and the view. The house as a special vibe with its location in the nature and you can really relax and recharge your batteries. The food, especially the perfect curry, is also the best we had in Sri Lanka. The beautiful view, the local vibe and the peacefulness of this place combined with the outstanding hospitality of the staff made our stay so incredibly enjoyable. There are also two very cute dogs, Vevlet and Rocky:) We also loved the activities which were offered by the hotel, like the 6 hours hike, a tour of the tea factory and the village walk with the hotel manager.

This place is just beautiful and full of peace - you will stay between tee fields in an old, charming British styled bungalow. We enjoyed the tour to the tea factory so much and can definitely recommend the breakfast and dinner - the cooking team is amazing!
