- Upon arrival in Sri Lanka we stayed here for the first two nights. It was perfect to kick-off our holiday and to have a relaxing start.
- The rooftop pool was great and very big, maybe just a bit colder than expected. But the jacuzzi had a very nice temperature and were perfect for longer relaxing.
- The complimentary city-tour organised by the hotel was great, gave a great overview of Colombo and was also not too long (ca. 3 hours).
- We also booked a trip to Sigiriya (Lion’s rock) with drop-off in Kandy afterwards via the hotel. It was a full day of travelling (ca. 7 hours of car drive) but our driver Duminda was very kind and friendly. Having just arrived in a new country, it was super nice to have someone taking such good care of you. We would highly recommend to ask for Duminda in case you’re planning to do a trip via the hotel. In terms of pricing, we also compared with costs on tripadvisor. The costs via the hotel were a bit more expensive but it was definitely worth it as we also drove in a nice and comfortable car with a safe driver.

The hotel is lovely, it was clean and the room was big enough, with super comfortable bed. The staff was super nice. The breakfast was okay, although I would prefer more options then eggs (especially local food).

I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Kelaniya Heritage. The staff were excellent, always helpful and friendly, ensuring a great experience. The internet connection was strong and reliable, which made my stay even more convenient. The entire hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff is so warm and it feels like you're straight up at home in Colombo - go out of the way to take care of you. Comfiest apartment, you're in a living, breathing piece of art.
Ideal for 2 people as there is only one bathroom in the apartment, though there are two (gorgeous) bedrooms. The staff informed us about this well in time so it wasn't a problem for any of us - but folks who many not be too close may want to consider this.

The locations was off a busy roadway, so you had easy access without the noise pollution.
There is a nice little cafe below that serves quite an extensive western menu and a mini retail area where you can purchase locally made souvenirs and tea.
