They even made a sweet balloon decorations and prepared a cake for my parents anniversary.. We were all truly touched. Our stay at this hotel was excellent. I especially want to mention the staff, absolutely everyone was friendly, smiling and helpful. Saskia Ambu helped us throughout our stay, helped us order a taxi and tuk-tuk, explained to the drivers where to take us and what we needed to find. A good attitude was manifested even in non-obvious things, such as giving us water to take with us in the car, treating us to a Sri Lankan dish and giving us a free visit to the sauna, but unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of it. Breakfast was delicious, dining room was clean, service was fast and high quality. Again all the staff are absolutely amazing. I also want to mention the cleanliness. The room, the bathroom and bed were very clean. Wifi worked well and we were even able to watch a TV series from it.

The cottage is located up the hill with a wonderful view. Compared to our other accommodations it’s quite and beautiful just 10 minutes outside of Newara Eliya. You can reach the city by bus, the bus stop is just down the hill. Vasanth was our host and did an amazing job. He served excellent breakfast and we felt like home. Nothing was missing and the beds were really comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this cottage.
