Gorgeous setting, smallish new property, beautiful top resort quality rooms. ocean view, absolutely lovely place, walk short path to ocean, pool, lounge chair setup under cabanas. nice restaurant on the beach, ask for Sri Lankan breakfast the night before. arranged scuba diving easily (good wreck diving at Trincomalee) fabulous snorkeling at Pigeon Island (turtles, sharks, etc) easily arranged by boat from resort.

The staff was extremely welcoming, hotel was comfy and clean. also, they cooked meals for us, which were cheaper and better than in surrounding restaurants. If I return to this area, I'll pick this hotel again!
