Unfortunately I got sick before I arrived and when I got there they took care of me as if I was part of their family. Food was amazing, they took me to the doctor, bought my medicine, checked on me many times… I can’t express how grateful I am for choosing this place. ❤️

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen (technical) circumstances, our booking for a 1-night stay on 16/3 (when we first arrived in Negombo to start our 15-day trip in a tuktuk) was cancelled upon arrival. We thus could not spend the night @ Ziegler Cottage, but the owner did all he could to find an alternative accommodation for us, that's why I think he deserves a positive feedback. Exceptional place! The room was super clean, nice decoration/furnitures, clean bathroom and silent. There is a fridge in the room, free bottles of water, tra/coffee, toothpaste + brushes and shampoo/conditioner (never seen these in an accomodation in Sri Lanka before). Wifi works perfectly and hosts are super friendly and speak good English. The host even drove me to the airport at 5am which was amazing! AC works perfectly and is silent.
