The location right next to the bird sanctuary is fabulous, and it is only a short walk to Taragala Rock, from here you have a perfect wiew of the whole area. The garden is an ideal place for watching birds of many kinds. Saman is very helpful, and he helped arranging a boat trip in the lagoon. The breakfast was very nice, and generous. The WiFi , aircondition, the shower all worked well. The bed was comfortable.

The location was excellent, stunning. Although the beach walks were amazing it’s far too rough for anyone to swim in, too many rips and huge waves. Breakfast was lovely and fresh we really loved the fresh fruit too. Loads of flexibility and the staff very willing to accommodate all requirements.

This was the most amazing place. We were 2 families with 2 children and it was just perfect. The bedrooms were incredible as well as the bathrooms with hot showers and AC was great!
The host Dinesh was just incredible. He was kind and generous and could not do enough. Dinesh prepared incredible breakfasts with local food as well as fresh fruits, eggs toast.
The grounds and pool and access to the beach were also just beautiful. There is nothing negative about this villa. It is perfect. I would highly recommend and hope to come back.
Wonderful location right on the beach in Kalametiya. Breakfast and dinner were both served on the beach - the food was really excellent and the atmosphere totally relaxing. The proprietor and his delightful family take a pride in offering a unique, personal service to the guests. Another bonus is the proximity of the hotel to the amazing Kalametiya bird sanctuary. This hotel exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended.

I had a fantastic stay here, mainly because of the kindness and generosity of the hosts. They are the sweetest family I have ever met, and it was hard to leave them.
The place is lovely and the location perfect, very close to several beautiful beaches and coves. If you like birds, there is the bird sanctuary right next door, and tours are organized: calm and happiness ♡

OMG! What an experience! If you want to live a real Sri Lankan life, go visit this place. It’s a 5min walk from a beautiful beach, nice, clean room, the whole family is super lovely and took care of us as if we were their own. Kumari is an excellent chef and she served us delicious food! Suni showed us the harbor and how all the fishermen work. I highly recommend booking this homestay. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Loved it!
Lovely local family, it's a real Sri Lankan experience. Mum was always smiling and son speaks good English and I very much enjoyed a beer with him on a evening.
