Our stay at Toropi Homestay was nothing short of magical. Nishad went above and beyond as our host, taking us on unforgettable excursions to a local tea factory, stunning waterfalls, the iconic Ambuluwawa Tower, and several beautiful temples. These experiences gave us a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and rich culture of the area, all while avoiding the usual tourist crowds. What truly sets Toropi Homestay apart is the genuine warmth and kindness of Nishad and his family. Their care and attention to detail made our stay the best we had in Sri Lanka. The villas are very nice, cozy and clean. The entire property looks amazing, very well maintained. The staff was super friendly and helpful, we had breakfast and dinner on our own terrace, they even helped us with the laundry, free of charge, because the service at the hotel they usually work with was not available at that moment.

An unforgettable view. This is one of the most memorable places we’ve stayed because the view is truly stunning. Watching the sun rise over the Kandyan hills with the sounds of the jungle and the chanting of the monks from the nearby monastery was a highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka. The staff can’t do enough for you and the breakfast was very good.

This location is perfectly nestled into the midst of the rainforest and is perfect for peace and tranquility, we arrived much to the surprise of the host due to us booking very last minute and the host not yet being updated by booking.com however that did not hinder his warm welcome and his keeness to ensure our happiness. He arranged a tuktuk to take us to a nearby waterfall and by the time we arrived back the room was all set up perfectly for us. We enjoyed sitting in the treehouse and were served a delicious authentic sri lankian meal followed by the most amazing night sitting under the fire flies listening to the thunder storm. The room was just what we hoped it would be, a calm jungle like experience. We will 100% visit again if we are ever back in this beautiful country.

The best place to relax and enjoy the nature. We tried Yoga program and Ayurvedic herbal massage in the evening. It is possible to arrange the tour to Robinhood village, Robinhood rock, tea plantations, tea factory, Ayurveda herbal garden. Everything is well organised. I recommend Rocksana Fortress in 100%!!!

We loved the out-of-the'way location. It was so peaceful, while the colonial bungalow was elegant, comfortable and spotless. Our host Petra was attentive and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to ensure we were happy and had everything we needed.
