We ended up paying a bit extra to upgrade our room. Large comfortable bed and pillows. Good spacious bathroom and shower with hot water. Use of a sitting area adjacent the room. We had a great Sri Lankan dinner with lots of different dishes as well. Good breakfast though spicy.

We loved the location and the possibilities to see Sri Lanka village and tea hill life. The hosts were incredibly helpful, met our every wish and provided delicious SL food. We loved our 3 night stay in the upstairs room with a spectacular view and balcony. Watching the mist come in and the sunset made up for the daily afternoon rain. If you are looking for a lush, green bit of solitude Hill Safari can be your place. Every morning we were woken by the beautiful music/chants from the village temple. We did not go to Horton Plains or Worlds End, there is plenty of adventure right at the doorstep. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

I got sick during the stay and the staff gave me medicine and everything but i didnt get better. Next day morning they arranged me a tuktuk and that person went to few places with me to get medicine from a doctor.

It is in the midst of a forest. A nice small river flows nearby with clean water. The window has a superb view. An amazing Sri Lankan food is a treat, after we walked a lot in the Horton Plains National Park. It also has a fire place. They have a tuk-tuk and a van for taking to nearby places. Beautiful Ohiya railway station is not far away. This is where the mind-blowing train route along Ella is there. Very friendly staff and nice view from anywhere in the hotel. It gives you the forest stay experience with all the necessary comfort.
