A peaceful paradise right on the lake. I came here for a mini retreat and it was so perfect. The family are so warm and friendly and took such beautiful care of me. The food was absolutely delicious too! I didn’t leave the place for 2 whole days and had everything I needed in one place.

Wanted to stay for 3 nights but stayed for 2 weeks because Janaka and his family were very friendly to us. Janaka helped us in everything throughout the whole time. He organized excursions around Sri Lanka for us, fed us delicious breakfasts and lunches, and even drove us to a new place. And Janaka's mother knitted a beautiful hat for our baby. Additionally, the option to go hiking nearby allowed me to explore the natural beauty of the surroundings. The attentive staff further enhanced my experience with their warm hospitality and impeccable service. I cannot recommend it highly enough for a memorable getaway in Kabalana Ahangama.
