Food is so delicious and the rooms and facilities are mind blowing. It was like home away from home. Haven’t been so comfortable on any trip as much as we were at happy man village. Generally, I loved everything. Perfect location. The staff is very polite friendly and helpful. They try to solve all your problems as quickly as possible. People really work. The hotel is very cozy, quiet with a pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Excellent cuisine both in the main restaurant and in the Olive pool bar. All top class chefs. The buffet menu is extremely varied and sophisticated. They harmoniously combine dishes of national and European cuisine. Special thanks to Ganushka, one of the Kitchen manager. Lunches and dinners were held with excellent live music performed by professional musicians. Every day live music in thу lobby. Large and always clean pool. A clean, uncrowded beach within minutes' reach. Special thanks to our curator Chamodi for her professionalism and prompt resolution of all emerging issues.

The place is located some 5 minute away from the village/Road. Very quiet and amazing at evening and night. Unobstracted view on green Meadows and trees. Full of wildlife. We saw flying foxes, bats, monkeys, frogs and variety of birds. The swimming pool was perfect. We had the place to ourselves only. The room was spacious for a family of 5. The breakfasts were different each Day (We chose local meals) and tasty. The owner is friendly, helpful and Speaks good English. We enjoyed the stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at Darashana Beach Hotel - highly recommend to anyone staying in Kosgoda ! Absolutely stunning view of the beach from both our room and the breakfast terrace. The room is clean, equipped with AC, mosquito nets. Extensive breakfast with fresh fruit salad and the most delicious juices ! There is also a pool area, although we spent most of our time at the beach (1 minute away). The staff was truly so helpful and kind. Suitable for couples, families and groups of friends alike, wifi strong enough to work remotely for those who can never quite put down their laptops ;)

Homeowners were lovely, kind people, helped us to the wine store and book an appointment for a massage. Also recommended the Madu river safari and booked it for us. The rooms were amazing and felt very luxurious and new. Food they made was delicious and the beach behind the villa felt almost like a private beach, and the waves were great to play in. We would stay there again.
