This is a great stop of for visiting the nearby safari. Everything was great. A real family atmosphere where everyone tries to make your stay as memorable as possible. They arranged a Valentines surprise for us, a cooking course which was incredible and thorough and also a great safari. Lovely big cool room too. Wonderful value too.

The manager of the resort was amazing. He sent for a bottle of wine and beer for us for our meals at the resort. Room was so comfortable, bed and pillows were perfect. Bathroom was clean. Pool was so nice. Very close to the entrance to the park although we saw few animals the day we went. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner at the restaurant. Wonderful meals..resort is only 1 year old. Would definitely stay here again!

We went to Udawalawe to experience a Safari. Our host was very helpful and arranged a car with a driver for us, even before we arrived at the hotel. The hotel is located 5 minutes from The Safari park entrance. The room was very comfortable and clean, equiped with AC, beds very comfortable. The meals prepared for us by our host were delicious, our stay was very enjoyable. A highly recommended experience!!!

We had a great stay at Buddika Safari & Resort. We enjoyed the spacious and clean room (incl AC) and bathroom (incl plenty hot water). The host is super friendly and the food delicious. The location is very close to the national park which is a plus for the safari tour which was organized by the host as well. We arrived at the property at 1 PM and enjoyed lunch 30 minutes later. We discussed the safari tour options with the host during lunch and decided to go that afternoon due to the weather expectations. At 2:30 PM we were in a jeep on our way to the park with a knowledgeable driver! The next day the host brought us to the Elephant Transit Home. Overall a great experience from beginning to the end of our two (2) day stay.
