The price for our stay was quite reasonable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the safari arranged by the hotel itself. Service 100 % personnel makes you feel special, we could not ask for more , with pick up from station , reservation of all transfers, providing best driver Asanka for the safari , we saw all the animals in the park also very rarely seen python and as the only people in the park that day we saw leopard from very close as well as we had best spot for watching tusk elephant following us for while. Manager , owner and all personnel were present and trying to make us feel very comfortable. There was nothing I could complain about. Early in the morning everyone came co help and say goodbye after transporting us to bus station. Amazing place and people from beginning to the end of our stay. I have to mention the food , prepared in hotel and served in front of our rooms , as well as super clean rooms fully equipped. English speaking personnel is always there when you need them.

We had a wonderful time at the pool, spending around two hours splashing around. It's a pretty spacious pool, which was nice. The food at the hotel was delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. Such a wondeful place to stay. The host is so helpful and friendly. He helped us arrange a safari with a very good guide and took us around to local attractions like birdwatching and batwatching and made getting to and from Tissa easy. Good food and clean room.

Randy and his family were amazing host, the friendliest you can ever find in Sri Lanka, always willing to help and give attention. Food (both breakfast and dinner) were really tasty. Randy took us on his motorbike to visit the amazing landscape and lake around. We felt good from the very beginning and felt sad to leave such great people and souls.

The room and the whole homestay was incredably clean. Nalin was a great host, we got a welcome drink and the dinner which is included in the cheap price was amazing. Best food we had so far. A great value for the money. Since I read in the reviews that you can book a Safari Tour through the homestay I texted Nalin already before arrival and he organisied a great driver who was animalfriendly and cheap (7hour half-day-tour was 19.000 p.p). On top Nalin woke up before us and prepared breakfast for us that we took on the tour, it was so much food that it was hard work to finish all of it and it was also included in the Safari price. Absolutely recommend staying at this place.

La safari inn is such a nice place! I came here for two nights but because of the heavy rain and closing of the National park, I decided to stay only one night and I could cancel the second night for free! The breakfast was good and not expensive, the guy working there is super supportive. He found me a taxi to Mirirssa, at a very nice price. At night it is very quiet . Shame I didn't get to do safari, but hopefully next time!
