If you want to stay close to nature and experience first hand life in the wild this is the perfect place for you. The location is great, remote, there is nothing else than sugarcane farm and Yala park around you. The host is amazing and offers evening tours around the farm to show you wild elephants, birds and lots of other animals. We also had the best curry there for dinner - truly amazing, the mother of the owner is an amazing chef. Driver also picked us up and dropped off in the closest city and organised a taxi to our next destination

The staff were amazing, Jagath the manager was a lovely man and very professional always happy to help. Bhanuka the trainee was a great young man, very friendly and so helpful. I gave him a shirt at the end and he was very happy. Madurange was also very helpful and made our stay so relaxing. Thanks a lot to the wider team it is an amazing place we will definitely be back if we are lucky to come to Sri Lanka again. Also the Food (veg curry) and the room were great (deluxe double). Badminton also fun rackets provided.

We had a wonderful stay! Our host showed us the sugar cane plantation, went on a little safari with us, spoiled our two little boys with sugar cane and river adventures and we couldn't have imagined a better stop on our road trip through Sri Lanka! This is a great place with wonderful view next to the river. The extraordinary friendly staff, a very helpful family prepared extremely tasty food for breakfast and dinner. We had a great Safari experience with the Jeep of the owner - felt like we were the only visitors to Yala National Park - owner is giving all to deliver an extraordinary experience. Very recommended!
Very friendly owners. We had safari and Bag knew all the places so we managed to see two leopards, a crocodile, plenty of deers and a bear. They advised us to go to a different safari site closer to the property where it was less crowded, more calm and the entrance ticket is less expensive. The homemade dinner and breakfast were authentic and delicious. We even saw coconut oil being pressed by the father of the family.
The owner is so friendly and helpful. He knows a lot about the nature in Yala. Also his mom cooks so amazing!!! Big love for the family. We had a great stay and a great Safari, we came across only 2 other jeeps. Thank you for everything.
