This is one of those absolutely special spaces that will truly be experienced when you stay there, Bawa magic all the way! If you're someone that enjoys architecture that reveals itself through thoughtful details - this is an experience you must have and open your world to Geoffrey Bawa's wizardry. The staff is so warm and it feels like you're straight up at home in Colombo - go out of the way to take care of you. Comfiest apartment, you're in a living, breathing piece of art.
Ideal for 2 people as there is only one bathroom in the apartment, though there are two (gorgeous) bedrooms. The staff informed us about this well in time so it wasn't a problem for any of us - but folks who many not be too close may want to consider this.

The locations was off a busy roadway, so you had easy access without the noise pollution.
There is a nice little cafe below that serves quite an extensive western menu and a mini retail area where you can purchase locally made souvenirs and tea.
I also appreciated how they provided a water dispenser in the hall way as well as mosquito repellant

The layout and signature Geoffrey Bawa elements speak in understated tones; designing a house around trees gives it a lot of tranquility. There are great common areas that gave me a chance to interact with fellow guests. The staff was very attentive and made me feel at home.

Great place - it really is the whole villa so very spacious. There is a lovely private swimming pool with deck chairs. Yasith and Soma were there to meet us on arrival and came every morning to cook breakfast and clean. One night Yasith organized an amazing BBQ - a nice change from going out to restaurants. There are 2 separate beaches only a few minutes' walk from the villa.
