The location was brilliant, it was walking distance to the shops. Mohan the care taker was exceptional, he made our experience worth while. He is a brilliant chef and made an excellent BBQ. He recommended a few local sites for us to travel to.

It was wonderful week. Bilin Tree House is more a villa with big pool than hotel. Indika and Lahiru were perfect hosts! They made us fantastic breakfast , dinner and fresh juices. They made our last week in Sri Lanka memorable!

Comfortable and clean place with nice staff, good breakfast, beautiful house and rooms. Walking distance from a bus stop and a little walk away from the Dutch fort, which was nice to do along the sea. Quiet and peaceful.

Kumudu, his team and his family are wonderful hosts and people. Always available to help, professional and discreet, yet personal, open-minded and open-hearted. Communication was easy at all times. The premises are well kept, exude a feeling of tranquility and make you forget you’re still in a city. The lush garden around the pool not only provides shade, but also privacy to the two double rooms and hosts an abundance of birds, squirrels and sometimes monkeys. The two beautiful double rooms with high ceiling are spacious, well-equipped, super clean, well-lit and feature a big bathroom with an open air (hot) shower in complete privacy. The beds are comfortable and have an airy and effective mosquito net. There’s a ceiling fan both in the room and on the terrace which was much appreciated as it keeps the mozzies at bay. One of the highlights was the delicious, fresh and plentiful breakfast on the room terrace, prepared by Janidu’s mother. I’m very happy to have found this place and can’t wait to return :)
