From the moment we arrived at Villa Kubura we were treated exceptionally, every little detail was thought of from cold face towels on our arrival through to complimentary fruit drinks tea and coffee. The villa is better in person than the photos - a truly beautiful place and spectacular location. Do try a meal here freshly cooked one of our favourite Sri Lankan meals so far. A delight!

I really liked the villa, it’s a big bedroom and also a living room combined with the kitchen. The villa is very light, there are 5 big windows in the bedroom. No probs with ac and electricity. The host family is absolutely gorgeous!! They own a shop which is in the first floor and a medical center. I’ve had some medical issues and they kindly helped me. The family was so caring and really welcoming, I was even sad to say goodbye. The location can seem for somebody a little bit far away from the ocean. But for me it was perfect: calm, peaceful, safe, no tourists, you can feel real Sri-Lanka living in such place, so close to local people, that’s what I wanted! Also it’s really green and beautiful outside, real jungles :)

We felt like we were at home! We bought our own groceries and cooked our own meals exactly how we preferred. We cooked up some BBQ for dinner because the villa comes with a BBQ Machine as well! It’s almost the perfect getaway from home that still makes you feel so comfortable and cozy! Every room was equipped with ACs which was a massive advantage to us! Kitchen were fully equipped from saucepans to toasters! We had multiple choice of locations as to where do we eat… Definitely one of the best Homestay styles Villas I’ve been to.
