This accommodation is excellent for families. Three bed room house with four double beds, close to the city centre (but not too close). Parking for two cars, fridge, microwave and a number of TVs with Thai cable and streaming services. The large deck with views over the Mekong River is great, we watched fantastic sunrises every morning.

We had dinner at Song Lao and the food was good and a decent price too. The staff were helpful and the kids were very cute.

I stayed twice, before and after the loop. One room just Ok, the other one shabby and bathroom smelly.. Ok bed, wifi ok, AC but no fan or mosquito net, but few mosquitoes when i was there. Good restaurant and communal area, with excellent real coffee. Very nice garden area. Efficiently run by a very hospitable host family - so kind that it made up for the deficiencies in the rooms which, just on their own, I'd rate at a 4 and 6 (two differet rooms). Really helpful with information and onward transport.

Clean rooms arranged around a pleasant garden area with a hang out place to make coffee etc. Friendly, family based place. Can make all the usual travel arrangements and motorbike rental at good prices but without any pushiness. Small 'shop' in reception also at good (normal) prices. The cheaper rooms are a little basic but for just $2 more there are some better rooms and bungalows, if the budget stretches to it I'd recommend the small extra expenditure.

Stayed only for a night to split up the long distance from Kong Lor to Pakse. The family is so lovely, very helpful, everything is clean. Dorms are nice, good mattress and blankets. Breakfast bot included, but affordable and there are a few options to choose from.

This was a lovely, quaint, wholesome place that I felt very grounded in. It was only small, not filled with hoards people, so therefore felt very personal. All of it is run by the lovely Nong who I had many wonderful conversations with, and her mother. Everything was very clean and cute decor. Perfect location, right near the river. I couldn't recommend it more and wish for this small family business to continue to do well.

Really enjoyed our stay here at Naga Hostel. The place is spotless and Binh and his family are so friendly and helpful! The breakfast here is also great. This is a perfect place to stay before starting on the Thakhek Loop. Binh provides a detailed map with lots of information, allows you to leave your bags in storage while you go on the loop and there’s a scooter rental just down the road! If I’m ever back in Thakhek I’ll definitely be returning.

Good location, kind staff, good for a stop in the area. Facilities are exactly as described. Three types of room: double with fan, double with AC and bungalow with AC. The description is confusing.
