A very nice hostel on one of the most beautiful islands in Japan. From day one I didn't feel like a guest but like part of the family. One of the best hostels in my entire stay in Japan (3 months). If you are looking for peace, nature and deserted beaches then Tokashiki Island is the right place for you! The owner also offers free shuttle rides every day. I extended my stay 3 times because it was so incredibly beautiful. Thank you so much Morino san 🙂

The owners and staff are absolutely the loveliest people! There is a kitchen and common room where people can meet and gather which gives it a very family-like feeling! The hostel has a very home-y and cozy feel, which makes you want to stay longer. When I’ll come back to the island I’ll make sure to stay there again!

I really appreciated the staff. The family that owns the hostel is extremely kind and willing to answer any questions. They even offer to drive you to the beaches of the island in their van. I did not expect that! They also organise kayak tours, or on uninhabited islands, they rent snorkelling equipment. Really well equipped!
