Gab and Kyoko were amazing hosts, they helped us a lot with local knowledge and were really friendly and relaxed with us. We stayed for 2 weeks with our 2.5month old baby and they were extremely accommodating even lending us a baby bath so we could bathe her beside the onsen. It was an all around amazing experience and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The kindness of Nao-san and her family was unreal, we loved staying here and it was truly like staying with family. If you choose to have the dinner, it was incredibly delicious and I would recommend you try it at least once during your stay. Location is a short 5-10 minute walk into the main part of town. Super comfy quilts. We were there in February so naturally a cold time of year. They had lots of heaters thankfully, but once turned off, the house got cold very quickly again. They arranged parking for us close by for a good price.

Very nice hotel. They have a range of rooms from budget Japanese rooms with shared bathrooms to western style rooms with en-suite bathroom. Very welcoming and helpful staff! All speak perfect English and always ready to help with any of your queries. The hotel has its own onsen which is very clean and has showers and a changing room unlike many other more traditional onsens in the village. The hotel also offers shuttle to the gondolas, which you need to book in advance as it gets filled quickly! Very good breakfast! Will definitely come back and stay here again! Thank you for making our stay at Nozawaonsen so nice!
