A very comfortable and well appointed house. Good location better accessed by car. Very efficient kitchen and well equipped. Everything in perfect condition and clean. Air conditioning in the main 2nd floor living area. The house is well built with quality material. Very attractive first floor area with a huge television screen. Last but not least, a very pleasant (foreign) owner who cares for your well being with plenty of local experience. A 10 minute drive to the local lake.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner services were absolutely amazing -- the chef included local ingredients including bamboo shoots from her own garden! The lakeside location is great as well.

Amazing hotel with friendly staff and in a perfect location. very short walk to the ski area and close walk to great restaurants and pubs around the town.
Driver picked us up from the train station which was very helpful. Staff assisted us in finding best way to our next location in japan. Also staff were very helpful with booking us into restaurants.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The resort sits on the beautiful glacial lake. Great for Winter and Summer activities. Our room overlooking the lake had a Japanese feel but was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great! Although the bathroom was on the small side it was clean and functional. Ted the owner was friendly and happy to share his knowledge of the local area.
Hayden, Saki and family made the stay with them amazing. For a family run pension, their attention to detail and general helpfulness is above and beyond. The location to skiing is excellent and the rooms weee comfortable and budget friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.
The staff were so friendly. Shota and Ted made sure to make our stay extra special and made for such a memorable and fun experience. Will definitely be back
Very Clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are bigger than most and perfect for a family with small children or babies. The location is good as a base for exploring Nagano and Niigata but a car is definitely necessary. I would happily stay here again.
The hotel is clean, has a wonderful continental breakfast with eggs and sausages cooked fresh, many bread and cereal options, hot tea & coffee. It is a 2 minute walk from the Lake Nojiri, which is super convinient as you can do SUP, kayaking and other water activities there and then return to the hotel to rest. For those staying with the kids, there is TV with youtube/netfilx and of course - internet if you want to bring your own device. Also, there is a game room with board games and table football.
Staff was very kind and helpful. They went out of service plan to give us hospitality. The common area has many utensils so that we could heat and eat our dinner.
The kids room is simple, roomy, and has new games. Our kids spent good time playing in those rooms.
Staff has mixed (Japanese and non-Japanese staff) nationalities, so comfortable for travellers. Rooms are big, clean. Bed was good.
