The owner immediatelly made us feel comfortable and at home at the Abbey Road Inn. He cooked a delicious Okonomiaky Dinner for us in the evening and a great Japanese Breakfast in the morning. The room was very spacious and spotless clean. Highly recommended!

We took the room with private open bath, to enjoy it together as the onsen is otherwise sperated for man and woman. It was an amazing experience to have the dinner and breakfast served in the private traditional restaurant room overlooking the little garden with water. The staff was very kind and professional, felt very much taken care of, can totally recommend! It was the full experience taking a bath in our own garden and then dressing up in the yukata for the dinner and breakfast. 10/10 worth every penny!

Great location! Nice and clean guesthouse with everything you need to feel at home. Mitsuyo & Kiyohito went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and they gave us amazing tips to enjoy our trip. If we visit Nara again we will stay here again.

The hosts are exceptionally kind and friendly. The house is well equipped, spotless clean and really comfortable. The location was also fantastic, just a few minutes from the station and close to the center and the park as well. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when coming to Nara!

Highly recommended! Very nice and helpful staff, luggage storage. Like a capsule hotel, but better, you can keep your luggage in the room in front of your bed, and lockers.
