There was a monitor and a desk that i could use for my work. A huge TV downstairs and a TV in the bedroom. Perfect stay for our 8 night stay as it was very comfortable and had all necessities needed for a mid length stay. We decided to extend our stay and wished to have stayed here longer but we decided too late and it was booked. Laundry and dryer was very useful! Two toilets and a nice shower as well. All in all a beautiful apartment with great decorations, very beachy!

It was a last minute booking but the owners were very wonderful and accommodating. Response time is very quick if you have any questions or concerns. The owners are Japanese, so all communication is in Japanese but they are very patient if your Japanese language skills are limited. The house was very spacious, clean, and well taken care of. Beds were comfortable and I did not have a problem getting a good nights sleep. A fully functional kitchen perfect for cooking your own meals if you please. Also, the dish ware was not the cheap type from a 100 yen shop but high quality ceramic dishes. They also had non ceramic plates for children. I imagine that it will also be the perfect place for a romantic couples getaway, family vacation, or a group vacation with friends. Conveniently located about a 10 minute walking distance to town. Hammock was very relaxing and added a unique experience to this stay. Is very much worth the price and would come back again when given the chance. Very satisfied with my experience here.

I loved the style of the building, with its strong sense of traditional Japanese materials (wood, tatami, shoji) and quiet atmosphere. I was reminded of Tanizaki's essay "In Praise of Shadows". My room was airy and light, and so quiet and calm. Miyako-san was extremely helpful and kind regarding suggestions for places to visit in Ishigaki, and ensuring I was comfortable during my stay.
