Honestly, every single thing about this place is amazing. From the staff and how they treat you, to the cleanliness of the whole building and the rooms. The staff were so helpful when we were stuck in Kyoto due to the Typhoon.

My stay at IMU Hotel Kyoto was very goodl! The room and toilet were spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, when I realized I had forgotten some jewelry at my previous hotel, they kindly made the call and got in touch with them for me. A nice touch was the complimentary sake in the evenings, which helped us unwind after long days of sightseeing. The included breakfast was a great start to our mornings. There are some local bars nearby to enjoy. Highly recommend for a comfortable and friendly stay!

Great location, and the offer 1 free sake every evening. I didn't like the self check-in and check-out. Really, there's an employee that has to stand there to make sure customers do it right, so why don't they just do the check in. I don't work there.
