A very sincere hotel with lovely Classical Japanese hotel vibe with arcade game area (not big but fun). Dinner was very nice with decent sashimi. The onsen on top floor is great with view over the Bay Area. The bathroom was new and well maintained. Room set up is nice with a set of chairs and table with a wide window view. The lobby could be nice and I am sure they will improve it. The staff are very nice and you see they are very happy that the guests are visiting Shizuoka. Breakfast was decent.

The most beautiful bed and breakfast I've ever been to. Suzuki was so kind, and every detail was carefully thought out. The most comfortable beds during our stay in Japan. The woodwork is absolutely incredible and the ryokan has a modern yet traditional feel. So serene -I don't think it's mentioned, but there's a small waterfall out the front of Suzuki's place. It was so easy to relax and unwind. The 7 course vegetarian breakfast he prepared for us was absolutely incredible, I just wish I could have eaten it all! Would definitely recommend and visit again, we didn't want to leave! ☺️

The hosts were wonderful, taking their time to explain everything in detail. The sauna, available for a small additional fee, is absolutely worth it. The setting is beautiful, perfect for enjoying nature and family time. The facilities are excellent, offering everything you might need, including a water purifier. You can also watch Disney and Netflix on a big projector from a cozy sofa, which was perfect for our rainy evening.
The highlight of my stay was getting a tattoo. Reina is an exceptional artist. We chatted, she showed her portfolio, and the next morning she created/placed my tattoo. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating. If you're looking for a local artist who specializes in fine line tattoos, Reina is the one to see!
