The dinner and breakfast were both excellent. The room was super comfortable and my kids had lots of fun with the Jaccuzi! We like the small Azo town, too.

A 15-minute walk from JR Aso Train Station, Hotel Aso No Tsukasa features accommodations with a flat-screen TV. Guests can soak in the indoor and outdoor public hot-springs baths with mountain views, and also request some for private use. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.

Everything. From the moment you walk in, the staff is very attentive and cheerful. Everyone smiles. I forgot that I booked dinner too so It was nice surprise for me. Dinner was interesting, you have 70min to dine in and this is due to free flowing alcohol. Just wow. Havnt seen that in any Japanese hotels before! It was bonus for sure! Food was good. Didn't use the onsen but they have 3 of them. Many different facilities and only 4min away driving from the station (I took a taxi $6). The best was the view!! My room was facing opposite way from Mt Aso and I actually preferred it coz it was not only stunning but also you can watch sunset and train passing by from this side which was a highlight for me. Room was very spacious and the Tanami area was great. Love it a lot

A quaint and beautiful onsen ryokan located in Aso. The room we got on the second floor was large and comfortable. The ryokan has a public onsen and 5 private onsens (reserved for guests after 9pm) located in an adjoning building. Dinner was amazing as expected from a ryokan. We used the private onsen twice!

Yumeoi-so offers large public hot spring baths and 12 private-use hot spring baths for guests’ relaxation. A game room with traditional Japanese games and a kids’ room are available on site. Female guests can choose their own yukata robe when checking in.

The property exceeded my expectations. It provided us with a very relaxing stay, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The bath was very pleasant, although there was no open air public bath (contrary to the description). The room was spacious and comfortable. But it was the food that blew my mind: it was the most lavish feast I've ever had in onsen. It's also worth mentioning that the place is easily reached by the local bus.
