Warm and authentic experience!
We had a great stay with the family and really enjoyed the company of goats too! The interior of the house is traditional and very tasteful. You really feel like you become part of real Japanese country life during your stay.
The location is perfect for wxploring the region and easy drive to Takayama. Closeness of picturesque river is an added benefit!

The breakfast was really good and the futon beds surprisingly comfortable. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The dinner was good but not exceptional and felt a little rushed. The onsen was very relaxing.

A big hotel. Firstly, I really like the provided shuttle from and to Takayama station. Staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfast was excellent, great variety! Room is spacious & clean..
