Sanga Nikko is a beautiful and spacious guest house. Yoshi is an amazing host, provided me with lots of advice on activities as well as hiking boots, umbrellas, everything I could need. Will definitely stay again when I return to Nikko!

The host absolutely made our trip to Nikko. They were super accommodating with our requests, and immediately made us feel welcome. They provided very helpful suggestions for our itinerary, and sat down with us to talk us through it. The guesthouse is beautiful, clean, modern and comfortable. We were only two, but it can easily accommodate a family of 4 (possibly more). Location is absolutely unbeatable, with views to the river.

This is a beautiful place to stay, in a quiet location, with the most friendly and accommodating hosts you could wish for.
We had a large, comfortable room with private facilities, but there are also 2 private baths/onsen, one outdoors with beautiful tree-top views, which can be reserved daily. Nice for couples or families. I recommend the early morning slots!
We had breakfasts, which were exceptional. Satoshi is a great cook! Unfortunately, we didn't take evening meals as vegetarians, but Elizabeth recommended a lovely Chinese restaurant a few minutes away.
Elizabeth kept us amused with her many stories and was really helpful with maps and information about Nikko and the area, as well as helping us out with a few lifts.
This is a wonderful place to stay, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
