Absolutely beautiful. Every room was exquisite. Our hosts went out of their way to help us with ideas of where to visit and what to do. We had wonderful experiences: sounding the gong for morning temple; touring the temple buildings; making prayer bead bracelets; tasting food made with incredible care and expertise both in Morito-Sha and in the tiny local sushi restaurant. Everything was just lovely. Can’t recommend more.

We had a great stay in Uan. Location was great to explore Kanazawa with all the districts of interest within a walking distance. Breakfasts were nice, so was an evening soba. Room was comfortable enough for a two night stay. Property itself is aesthetically pleasing and everything is very clean.

Incredible staff - friendly, welcoming, attentive, and super helpful (especially when we realised we'd left our passports on the train...). The vinyl bar is a real treat, calm, atmospheric, and with great music. Our room was clean and spacious and you're within walking distance of everything. We'd be delighted to stay again.
