The house was comfortable. Located among private houses, the location was serene and a real retreat for a break.5 minutes by car to Tsugaike Kogen ski resort made it abreeze to drop off skiers and pick them up when done! The heating was perfect and never too drying and the washing machine and dryer was marvellous. The kitchen was fully equipped and we actually made dinner in the house as going out at night in the snow didnt sound appealing! Mr Kudo lives next door and always available if needed. he even ofered to drive us around.

Great location, in a street with lots of remnant forest on properties. Many night time attractions within walking distance (Echoland, etc). Private onsen was nice...especially as the hotel was not busy when I was there, so I didn't feel rushed. Room was fairly small but a nice outlook, private bathroom, fridge, was spotlessly clean & the bed was large and comfortable. The host was lovely. He really made an effort to make me feel welcome.

Beautiful house and exceptionally friendly host. The breakfast was fantastic, the whole room and bathrooms were immaculate, super clean and I'd stay here again. Lovely and quiet in this area.

Bob was an amazing host. He offered to dropped us off at the Ski resort in the morning which was very helpful. His wife baked us a delicious homemade apple cake. He also offered us electric bicycles to ride around the area.

Best accommodation on our 6 week trip to Japan! Breakfast was fantastic and changed daily. Quiet large rooms and beautiful green surroundings and nearby onsen. They also had free bikes for guests to use to explore the Hakuba area. My girlfriend even had a flat tyre once and the staff picked her up with the car without any discussion! We will be back!
