There’s no doubt that this is a beautiful property and it’s a short drive (10 mins) to the main road, that has lots of restaurants and tourist attractions. It’s peaceful, comes with a pool, the owner makes a delicious breakfast, the room is spacious with a fantastic terrace overlooking the rainforest, and it has heaps of character and charm. It’s also good value for money for what you get.

Value for the money paid. Breakfast included. Plaza at the front was good especially the ice cream shop. It also had a police section that was good for safety. We think this is an hidden gem. The security Mr. Green has exceptional customer service and the Manager who assist us to check out was a very calm and welcoming lady. Damian the owner was very professional. As my family and I walked in there was a lovely calmness about the property.
We all oohed and aahed around the property because we were impressed with the decor/layout and sizes of the rooms.
The pool, while not up to our standards, was a short walk from the property and was in a nice set up where you could eat and hang out with family and friends.
The location felt more like the US than Jamaica however once you passed through the gates, there was no doubt about where you were.
The location was great in distance to eateries, town and most importantly, beaches and there are a few.
All in all, I would rate this property 10/10
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The house is absolutely stunning, full of history, charm, charachter and peaceful after a day out-a true haven to come back too.
Run and family owned, i was made to feel welcome and part of the family. Morning/afternoon coffee/tea with the hosts was super interesting. Thoroughly recomend this hidden gem on top of a hill🙂
