Agriturismo is amazing. It is located in the spacious garden, has a nice pool area and farm animals. Breakfast is very tasty, we have been there with two small kids and asked the owner for some heathy alternatives which he has happily provided. It is close to Assisi and other umbrian towns. The owner is a wonderfull person, open and very helpfull. I honestly recommend this place for families as well as people without kids.

Their rental unit is new. It is built as though they built it for themselves. They spared no expense in its provisions. Multi-zone AC, doors and windows with glass and wooden shutters, modern kitchen, lovely bath, a real wood-burning fireplace, and a walk-in closet. The area is quiet, the patio is a terrific hangout with seating for a large family on a warm day. It is a mere 10 min from Assisi and 7 minutes from a massive Conrad supermarket. The young couple live underneath with their entrance on an entirely different side, so you feel you have complete privacy. Their unit is partially below ground, and it is clear they must have decided to rent the better unit to guests. They welcome you with genuine smiles, speak English, and give you their full attention when you need it. I have met a lot of hosts over the years and quite often it is clear owners have a routine and it is entirely a transaction for them. This young couple really want to make a good impression with the quality of their unit and their treatment of you. This was our best stay on this 6 week trip in Italy.

Mara's apartment is amazing. We made a last minute decision to visit Assissi while in Italy, so it was a last minute booking. We were very fortunate to find Mara's apartment available for one night during school holidays. Mara greeted us warmly. The apartment is like brand new, sparkling clean, airy and modern with efficient air conditioning for cooling the summer heat, the window shutters made a big difference too. When the shutters are open, there is a wonderful view of the green hills. The large kitchen is well equipped and organised, Mara supplies more than enough for a continental breakfast, much appreciated. The lounge and bedroom have comfortable, quality furniture with a few personal homely touches. The shower is brilliant. There is a shady terrace and large garden for sitting out. Parking is very safe in the garden. We drove the short distance into Assissi and found a good multi storey car park close to the Basilica of St Frances. Be aware, Assissi is hilly but it is so beautiful. After sunset, it was nice to drive back to Mara's peaceful country apartment. I wish that we could have stayed there longer. Breakfast was included which was a thoughtful surprise. Lovely, comfortable, well appointed property in the country with washing machine. Waking to the country sounds was welcome and soothing. Situated half way between Assisi 9km, and the pretty town of Spello 8km, made it easy to visit both at leisure. Free parking. Restaurants nearby at Santa Maria degli Angeli. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Wished we could have stayed longer in this gorgeous property.
