We really liked all the amenities they had for us, from hot tub to laundry machine/dryer. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and warm up our food and the beds were super comfy. We also loved seeing the animals on the farm, like the ducks and sheep wandering around. Helga was also very accommodating when we accidentally locked our key in the house as we were able to get a spare key from her next door.

Very nice apartment, right in the outskirts of Egilsstadir (2 minutes drive from the city center). Plenty of space for 3 people. Spotless clean! super Wifi and smartTV. Good hotel right next to the lake. The room has a good size with a kettle and the hot pool (spa) was nice after a long day out (not that you have to pay extra). The restaurant at the hotel was excellent.
